STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES
The large State of the Art distribution centre in South Auckland uses
some of the most up to date technology available to the industry,
including a fully air-conditioned warehouse, independent temperature
recording with biogenics, and digital surveillance for security. A wide
range of healthcare products including pharmaceutical, consumer
and medical categories are warehoused and distributed for some of
New Zealand’s largest healthcare companies. Channels of distribution
include hospitals, dentists, pharmacies, vet wholesalers, supermarkets,
doctors and pharmaceutical wholesalers.

QUALITY FOCUS
Healthcare Logistics recognises the importance of an on-site QA function in ensuring the quality of incoming and stored product, and has developed a comprehensive Quality system document file with over 35 Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs). Most aspects of GMP/CGDP
in relation to the distribution of pharmaceutical products are addressed. SOPs cover from when the product is received, handled, stored, despatched, returned temperature deviations, pest control, reject stock and many more. Through a philosophy of continuous improvement the
company constantly monitors its progress to ensure these predetermined standards are maintained.
Training of all employees is a critical success factor to maintaining and raising the benchmark of quality standards within the organisation, and to this end the Quality Department has implemented a full quality plan that also includes the training of existing and new staff.
